Passage. RV #286, 5/2/97, p 1831 HB 2400 passed 71-66.
YCT Nay. Requires business with 50 or more employees to grant family and medical leave to employees for up to 12 weeks. The Workforce Commission would investigate any violations of the law. This bill is almost identical to Federal Law and would therefore impose unnecessary government intervention in the employer/employee relationship.
