YCT Yea. This bill requires parental notification before an abortion can be performed on a minor, but it provides exceptions in when parental notification is not in the best adolescent’s best interest. YCT believes that abortions should be treated like any other medical procedure and at least require parental notification. Currently, in Texas a minor cannot get a tattoo, but can obtain an abortion.
