Motion to suspend the Senate Rules to take up SB 188 out of its regular calendar order to hear the bill. 3/31/99 p.828 The motion to suspend the rules passed 23-6.

YCT Yea. SB 188 would increase the penalties to persons who injure a pregnant woman. YCT holds the life and the rights of the unborn in very high respects. This bill will increase the penalties for injury to pregnant women and continue to protect the unborn.
