12. SB 4 - Nixon Amendment

Motion to table Amendment # 76 by Nixon. 5/23/99 RV #451, p 3067 The Nixon Amendment was tabled 81-62. 

YCT Nay. The amendment  provides that the University Interscholastic League (UIL), a part of the University of Texas at Austin, may not deny private schools the opportunity to participate in league activities if they meet certain guidelines. Private schools, if they so choose and meet guidelines, should have the opportunity to participate in UIL activities.
