YCT Yea. The bill would protect firearms manufacturers, trade associations, and sellers from government lawsuits relating to lawful design, manufacture, marketing, or sale of firearms to the public. Gun manufacturers and dealers should not be held responsible for the cycle of violence plaguing our communities. The real culprits should be the individuals who commit the crimes and a decline of morality and discipline in our nation. This bill also prevents government from targeting an industry in order to fund lavish spending programs.
