YCT Nay. This amendment would allow for the creation of the state prescription drug program for certain Medicare beneficiaries, proposed by HB 1094, to only be created if federal funds were available for the program. This program will cost the state of Texas an estimated $230 million over the next five years. YCT promotes responsible spending of taxpayers’ money.
