YCT Nay.  The bill that would allow for the state of Texas flexibility in determining how to count the household income of certain ineligible legal immigrants for eligibility in the food stamp program.  If the federal government does not recognize certain immigrants as eligible for food stamps, then the state of Texas should not count their income for allotting food stamps.
