YCT Nay. SJR 3 proposes a constitutional amendment to allow for gubernatorial appointment of Texas Supreme Court justices and Texas Court of Criminal Appeals judges. YCT believes that judges should be held accountable to voters and therefore supports state-wide election of these offices.
