YCT Yea. This bill would allow the State of Texas to accept the Matricula Consular, an official Mexican document, as identification for issuance of a Texas driver’s license. Motion to table the Wise Amendment. This amendment would give rights to non-US citizens that jeopardize the rights and safety of US citizens and potentially create voter registration fraud. It also allows illegal citizens to masquerade as legal citizens.
