YCT Nay. The bill would allow non-US and Texas residents to get a driver’s license in the State of Texas with only proof of identity from their home country. This amendment would give rights to non-US citizens that can potentially jeopardize the rights and safety of US citizens and also potentially create voter registration fraud. It also allows illegal citizens to masquerade as legal citizens.
