YCT Nay. Amendment 9 would have required the state’s accreditation allotment to be indexed for inflation, meaning the state would automatically increase its per-student allotment of money to each school district by the rate of inflation. YCT believes that public education spending should not be increased without meaningful reform and financial accountability and opposes statutory mandates of spending increases in all programs
