YCT Yea. Amendment 11 authorized the sale of lottery tickets over the internet. Amendment 14 deleted that language and eliminated the underlying bill’s language calling for the Texas Lottery Commission to develop easier ways to sell tickets. YCT opposes the lottery as a means for collecting state revenues and opposes efforts to use personal credit as a means to purchase lottery tickets.
