Motion to Table. Amendment 21 by Williams. July 10, 2005, p 132 Amendment 21 was tabled 19 – 10.
YCT Nay. Amendment 21 would have inserted a provision into HB 3 that required a portion of future state budget surpluses to be used to buy down property tax rates. YCT believes that government should tax people as little as possible, and if it collects more money than it needs, it should return that money to the taxpayers.
