YCT Yea. Amendment 14 to HB 300 would have banned the use of red light cameras statewide. YCT opposes red light cameras because they exist solely for the purpose of raising revenue for cities. Additionally, despite claims that they increase safety, many tests have proven that red light cameras actually cause more accidents.
