YCT Yea. This vote was a motion to instruct conferees to keep amendments 101 and 102 in HB 300. These amendments would have rapidly phased out red light cameras. YCT opposes red light cameras because they exist solely for the purpose of raising revenue for cities. Additionally, despite claims that they increase safety, many tests have proven that red light cameras actually cause more accidents
