YCT Yea. HB 836 would have authorized the hunting of feral hogs from a helicopter and required the Parks and Wildlife Commission to adopt rules governing this activity. Amendment 3 to the bill, however, would have prevented any property owner from making a profit on helicopter based hog hunting. Profit motives are a good thing; not something to be feared or opposed. A profit motive would only have increased the effectiveness of hog eradication programs.
