YCT Nay. SB 1120 would have required law enforcement officers to compile reports of the race of individuals that they stop for traffic violations. SB 1120 constituted a witch hunt, attempting to find racial discrimination in places it does not exist and burdens already overstretched police officers. The bill was also outside the appropriate scope of government.
