YCT Nay. SB 1405 would have created an advisory panel to the Texas Water Development Board to advise the board on “climate change.” Man-caused climate change is a myth and is too often used as an excuse to punish individuals and businesses by raising their taxes, and thus legislation aimed at combating climate change should be opposed.
