31. HB 1 Motion to Instruct Conferees

YCT Yea.  This motion was made in order to instruct conferees to retain the House provisions in the budget de-funding all taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood after members of the Senate had reinserted funding for Planned Parenthood into the budget. YCT believes in the sanctity of life and therefore opposes any funding for the abortion industry.  Abortion providers should not receive any taxpayer subsidies, even if those subsidies are for non?abortion services, because the subsidies ultimately facilitate abortions by bringing down overhead.
