YCT Yea on Motion to Table. Amendment 14 would have
required the state to provide healthcare for any child
saved from abortion due to the sonogram requirements
of HB 15. YCT is appalled by those who would cloud the
life and death issues involved in abortion with demands
for the provision of social services. We owe a duty to
children everywhere to keep them safe from abortion. Just because we would like them to live does not mean
that they and their parents are automatically owed free
healthcare.
