YCT Yea. HB 2510 seeks to exempt light bulbs produced within Texas from federal regulations which seek to ban Edison light bulbs in favor of compact fluorescents. The federal regulation is nonsense and limits consumer choice. Furthermore, this measure seeks to challenge unconstitutional interpretations of federal power under the commerce clause by asserting freedom from federal regulation over intrastate produced goods.
