YCT Nay. SB 1107 expands a mandatory bacterial meningitis vaccination program passed during the 81st legislative session to include all incoming students at Texas institutions of higher education, even those students who elect to live off?campus. YCT opposes mandatory vaccination schemes, especially those which do not provide alternatives for those who choose not to participate.
