YCT Yea on Motion to Table.  SB 321 will allow concealed handgun license permit holders to keep a handgun in their vehicle while parked in a lot on their employer’s property.  Amendment 3 would have exempted childcare facilities from the scope of the legislation.    YCT fails to understand the logical basis of the amendment.    Child? care employees are just as deserving as other Texans of the right to protect themselves while traveling to and from work.    If the concern is about children accessing firearms, it begs the question of what is to be done about the greater issue of children presumably running around daycare parking lots breaking into cars
