YCT Yea. HB 29 would have criminalized the TSA’s current “enhanced” pat down procedures. YCT believes there is absolutely no justification for the current policies of the TSA which submit our mothers, daughters, and wives to invasive touching which, if it occurred in any other environment, would be prosecuted as sexual harassment. The current policies of the TSA are nonsensical and wrong, and should be eliminated to ensure the privacy rights of Texans and our freedom to travel.
