HB 6 seeks to provide greater protection to students and teachers from threating and disruptive student actions both in the classroom. YCT favors legislation protecting teachers’ and staff’s ability to effectively manage classroom and school environments and enforce consequences for disruptive behavior, while ensuring that childish misbehavior is not unreasonably punished.
