Representative Morrison is from Victoria, Texas and attended Victoria College. She is involved with a number of organizations, including the Blue Ribbon Commission on Higher Education - National Council of State Legislatures, Commitment to Excellence Steering Committee - Texas Education Reform Foundation, Education Committee - National Council of State Legislatures, Junior League of Victoria, and Southern Regional Education Board.
