YCT Yea. SCR 54 would have requested that Congress cease and desist attempting to enact federal legislation impinging on the individual right of every American to keep and bear arms and urged Congress to oppose passage of the Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009. The right to keep and bear arms is a fundamental right that ought to be promoted and protected, not restricted.
