YCT Nay. HB 1146 instituted new regulations on appraisal management companies in satisfaction of the requirements of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. YCT opposes unnecessary regulation of market entities. Furthermore, YCT believes in federalism and the sovereignty of our state, and opposes compliance with any federal mandate which seeks to require our state to pass any piece of legislation.
