Floor amendment 2 would have allowed an abortion provider to avoid the require? ments of HB 15 (the Sonogram Bill) if they had a “good faith” belief that there was a medical emergency. Such loopholes have been abused by abortion providers in other contexts. YCT opposes measures that provide ave? nues for abortion providers to avoid complying with the law.
