YCT Yea.  SB 1214 would have allowed private and paro? chial school students to compete in UIL competitions.   YCT supports diversification of opportunity in education and believes that ending the public school monopoly on academic and sports competition is a positive step to? wards allowing greater access and greater options for all students.
