YCT Yea. HB 462 would stop federal overreach in Texas Public schools by prohibiting the State Board of Education from including “common core” federal standards in the curriculum. YCT supports keeping any curriculum standards or standardized tests at the state level, providing Texans with the ability to adapt the standards for the needs of Texas students.
