YCT Yea on Motion to Table. Amendment 4 to SB 149 mandates more money for CPRIT, a cancer study organization that has been embroiled in scandals and wasted taxpayer dollars. While YCT respects the importance of cancer research, it does not constitute an essential function of government. We believe such research is most effective when led by the market and charitable organizations.
