YCT Yea. SB 1907 prohibits public colleges or universities from forbidding concealed handgun owners from storing their firearms in their vehicles while attending class. YCT supports the expansion of concealed handgun license holders’ rights, and Concealed Carry on Campus is YCT’s number one legislative priority because it directly concerns the rights of our members to protect themselves. Though this bill did not extend concealed carry to college and university campuses, it does move toward making students better able to protect themselves while commuting to and from campus.
