YCT Yea. HB 2 was an omnibus pro-life bill. This bill will reduce abortions and improve the health and safety standards for women seeking abortions through four measures: 1) Prohibiting abortions after 20 weeks; 2) Requiring abortion clinics to increase their level of care to that of an ambulatory service center; 3) Requiring abortion providers to have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles; and 4) Requiring doctors to administer abortion-inducing drugs on site.
