YCT Nay. This bill would amend the Education Code to increase the maximum maturity period of a serial installment from 15 years to 20 years; and, increase the outstanding value from $1 million to $2 million for interest-bearing time warrants issued by a school district. YCT opposes legislation that shifts away from fiscal responsibility and accountability.
