YCT Yea. This bill would prohibit coverage of elective abortions being provided by the Texas insurance exchange created under ‘Obamacare’. It would also prohibit coverage of elective abortions from private insurance plans and various state employee medical plans. It would enable an opportunity for supplemental coverage for abortion to be offered to an employee. YCT supports legislation ensuring that tax payers are not funding the egregious and barbaric practice of abortion.
