YCT Nay. This amendment was an attempt to
strip Senator Huffines Amendment which called for the eventual phase out of the
franchise tax over time at very specific rates of decrease. YCT opposes this
amendment and any attempt to salvage the franchise tax and its eventual phase
out or repeal.
