YCT Yea. Currently, agencies and government entities can withhold information from legislators. SB 515 would have provided elected or appointed officials the right to access all information and properties within their jurisdiction. This bill aims to cut through "the red tape" and prevent elected officials from having to jump through hurdles that are put in place by government agencies. YCT supports increasing transparency by giving those elected by citizens more access to public information.
