YCT Nay. HB 3287 would place more limitations on the direct to consumer sale of ale and beer on the premises where the ale and beer is produced. This bill infringes on free market principles by creating additional regulations and restrictions on breweries that produce less than 225,000 barrels a year. It increases the already strenuous restrictions on craft beer taprooms by not allowing breweries to consume more than 5,000 barrels on-premise.
