Passage; July 26, 2017; Journal Page 283; 17 Yeas, 14 Nays

YCT Yea. SB 14 is a simple bill to protect property owner rights. If it would have made it through the House, local governments would have not been able to continue over-regulating the removal of trees and vegetation on private property. Private property rights are violated once any unit of government prohibits, requires an application/permit or imposes a fee. YCT supports legislation that limits regulation on property owners.
