YCT Nay. HB 1311 would renew the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists through 2025. The Texas Legislature did this even though the Sunset Commission recommended that this government agency not be renewed. YCT opposes this bill because it is a prime example of government complacency as well as excessive licensing and regulation.
