Passage; March 5, 2019; Journal Page 348; 31 Yeas.
YCT Nay. SB 10 amends the Texas Health and Safety Code to establish the Texas Mental Health Care Consortium. This consortium was created to treat the mental health of students in Texas public schools. Unfortunately, it does so at an extravagant cost of 100 million dollars to taxpayers while minimally protecting parental rights. Due to its expansion of socialized medicine and it's the risk of violating personal freedom, YCT Opposes this bill.
