YCT Yea. SB 37 prohibits Texas Occupational Licensing agencies from not granting or renewing licenses of individuals who have either breached or defaulted on student loan repayment plans. Not granting or renewing occupational licenses to these individuals would only further hinder these individuals from being able to repay their student loan debts. YCT supports this legislation because it removes a barrier to one's ability to work and prosper in Texas.
