Passage; April 17, 2019; Journal Page 1129; 18 Yeas, 13 Nays.
YCT Yea. SB 29 would prohibit the governing body of a political subdivision from spending public money to directly or indirectly influence or attempt to influence the result of pending legislation involving taxation, bond elections, tax-supported debt; and ethics and transparency of public servants. YCT supports SB 29 because it would ensure that taxpayer money does not subsidize partisan politics.
