Passage; April 24, 2019; Journal Page 1263; 31 Yeas.

YCT Yea. SB 13 would have restricted the ability of former legislators to become a paid lobbyist before the Texas Legislature by creating a cooling-off period of one legislative cycle before they are eligible to be a paid lobbyist. YCT supports legislation that prevents elected office from being used as a tool of personal enrichment and therefore supports this bill.
