YCT Nay. SB 132 created a trust fund for the Texas Economic Development Bank. The Texas Economic Development Bank offers corporate welfare to organizations creating jobs in Texas. Troublingly, this program would be operated outside of the control or insight of the Texas Treasurer's office. YCT opposes all government programs that provide corporate welfare because they redistribute Texans' hard-earned tax dollars towards monied interests. Therefore, YCT opposes this bill.
