Passage; May 2, Journal Page 1460; 25 Yeas, 6 Nays.

YCT Yea. HB 302 prohibited “no firearms” clauses from residential lease agreements, protecting tenant’s rights to own and keep firearms on the leased property lawfully. For far too long, there has been a lack of clarity on the rules and regulations surrounding tenants' Second Amendment rights on leased property. This bill expands and protects the rights of individuals to keep firearms and ammunition in their units and home lots. YCT will proudly support and endorse any legislation that protects the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens.
