Passage; May 16, 2019; Journal Page 1973; 26 Yeas, 5 Nays.

YCT Nay. HB 2402 would have expanded the number of events that are eligible for the funding provided by the Major Events Reimbursements program. This bill would cover a variety of new expenditures, including the Big 12 Football Championship Game. College Football is a vastly profitable enterprise that does not require hard-earned taxpayers’ dollars to remain solvent. YCT opposes all corporate welfare.
