YCT Nay. HB 448 would seek to punish and criminalize parents for making personal choices about their children’s car seat orientation and safety in a vehicle. YCT opposes any overreach of government authority and meddling in the personal lives of law-abiding individuals, and the possibility of overcriminalization by the State of Texas.
