SB 554: Reclaiming Eminent Domain Land

YCT Yea. YCT supports this bill because it enables private property owners to reclaim land that the government took through eminent domain. It clarifies the "actual process" that a government unit must undertake to maintain eminent domain acquired land. If the "actual process" isn't made, the former private property owner can reclaim the land. YCT supports protecting private property rights by limiting the government’s power of eminent domain. We believe this will help prevent eminent domain corruption and abuse.
